The Trivandrum Regional Centre of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE) is the premier body of professional Chemical Engineers in this region. The Trivandrum Regional Centre, established in 1984 is one among the 35 regional centres of IIChE. The centre has more than 140 members from R&D Institutes, Organizations, industries and academic institutions located in Trivandrum and Kollam districts of Kerala.

The Regional Centre regularly organizes technical lectures, symposia and seminars for the benefit of its members. The Centre also promotes the activities of the student chapters in TKM College of Engineering, Kollam and Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology (MCET), Anad, Trivandrum located within its jurisdiction.
